The Good

For the price and overall features this is an excellent place to get started. This videomail provider is for the beginner or advanced user. Best choice for an Internet marketer, business person, sales person or professional communicator. Perfect video newsletter system. Expect a learning curve, but it is worth it. Benchmark lets your embed your video into a totally customizable template. The template feels like a travelling web site that lands into someone's email box. Their video tracking and reporting features are among the best in the industry. This is one of Benchmarks strong points. Delivering a multi-media experience into an inbox. Most companies don't allow as much customization of the template. I especially like that they provide royalty free video clips that you can work into your video content. If that isn't enough their customer service is great too. So you are not alone. No doubt this is another reason they will keep growing and capturing market share. I won't be surprised if someday an Internet firm comes along and buys this company.

The Bad

The only feature that keeps Benchmark from being the perfect service is that they don't install a video player on your PC. This means you need to record your video and save it to your computer, then upload it to your account at Benchmarkrichmedia.com, then you can send out your videomail. As I see it this is a great videomail service for marketers. If Benchmark had a video recorder available users could upload immediately after recording it would save time and be more convenient. Also I don't see a way to change the SMTP server data. This allows the videomail to appear it is coming from you to your customer etc. This way recipients of your videomail think it is coming from yoursite.com not an unfamiliar company that might land in a junk box.
